THE NIGHTMARE TRAIN.

Silently, I watch
As clouds pass by
In painted dreams
Of black and white.

As darkness descends
Upon the embers
Of the dying day.

As unseen dreams
Dance across the shadows
Of a storm-kissed night.

Silently, I watch
As distant winds
Play upon the trees
And soft leaves dance
Upon twilight dreams.

Silently, I watch
As sightless eyes
Burn my soul,
Filling the night
With silent screams
As memories sail
Upon stormy seas.

Silently, I watch
As nightmares pass
Upon the tracks
Of eternal night.
