Pop past away quite a few years ago, when I say Pop that’s what I called him. Actually he was my Grandfather, not that I really knew him all that well, in fact I hardly knew him at all. Lots of people would have called him a bum or a hobo, but from time to time he would settle, I suppose that’s how he met grandma and in a way that’s how I came about, after dad was born Pop went about on his travels again, he always seemed to be running from someone or something. Dad used to tell me quite often men would come around asking questions about Pop, but what could they tell them for Pop was there one day and gone the next.
Time is the most precious thing we have, but we are the poorer if we can't spend a little time on a friend
