Come with me, O Busy Bee,

To a house down by the sea.

We’ll dance and sing and play all day

‘Till the stars come out to play.

Come with me, O Busy Bee.

Let’s have milkshakes for our tea,

Then swim with mermaids in the bay.

A perfect way to end the day!

A chirpy bright couple of stanzas, Lynn, sometimes a poem just gives a smile, thanks, Zy

Hi everyone,

I’m sorry that this is just a fleeting visit, but I’ve just come for a quick read while I have 10 minutes to spare. I hope you’re all well.

I got fed up with writing the dark stuff, so I thought I’d try something else instead.

It’s been ages since I last wrote a children’s poem, so I thought I’d have another go just to cheer myself up.

I’m glad you all enjoyed! :)

Lynn
