Eros and Psyche

Could Love Be True

I've traveled this road before,
 Through wasteland of humanity.
 To victory shared,
 Mountains traversed.
 Joy and sadness
 Strengthens me.
 Captivated by wit and charm,
 Enchant and delight,
Long to be in cyber arms.
 Could love be true,
 In myths and legends.
 Only in the mind.
 I tremble at the thought.
 Oh, aching heart,
 Why feel the sting
 Of cupid's arrow,
 So painfully sweet.
 Where love is garnered
 And warmth is found.
Maria

What a great piece for the first Valentine entry for 2015, Maria,

one of the most well known love stories ever,

doesn't it have a happy ending eventually and they marry...perfect, Zy x
