George Benson was just an ordinary man; perhaps you might say just another face in the crowd.

Yes he was a little eccentric at times, dressed to an age more like his granddad than the thirty years he actually was and a little shy, never stood out at anything.

A clever way of saying "Be grateful for what you've got" Tony,

lessons in life come in all kinds of guises...this was fed in and executed with ease.

I enjoyed muchly, as I always do with your stories, Zy

Zy thank you for your comment, this came about after reading Sacha's poem "Doubt" You are right about being grateful with what we've got. But sometimes it's not that easy, we are what we are. I suppose in all walks of life there are a few things that might benefit, but you have to walk in someone else's shoes to understand. But there are things more important than the little changes we could wish upon ourselves...Tony (potleek)

Of course there are, Tony, there always has been and always will be, but shoes do not have to be falling off or squashing toes to be a bad fit, the naked eye can see either by the aid of empathy or just a little understanding.....

I drifted into psychology because I was fascinated by looking beyond the restrictions (working outside of the frame) and stretching further than is comfortable. heehee and my family would say that that was just the tip of my social oddities,  Zy
