I've been accused in the past of being unambitious ~ don't know what they mean ~ is that a character flaw???

Horse or Cart?

(c) A. Couchman

I sometimes sit and wonder why,

Ambition simply passed me by;

I’ve never felt inclined to take the reins.

Which takes away the choice, of course,

To be the cart or be the horse;

Perhaps I’d better think that out again!

Come on, "Giddiup up" Can't you see?

Leave reigns and carriage up to me

but you do have scope to choose the route,

gymkhanas are not deamed stylistic

and dressage, would drive you ballistic

so just a placid trot is what ... you'd suit.

Love this, David,, soooooo you, lol, Les x

David I can remember reading this one before. Not so much that ambition passes you by more the opportunities. Haven't we all had those moments...Tony (potleek)
