Thank you Maria and Zy - I've been concentrating a lot on photography recently, still very much an amateur but am enjoying colours and textures, I've been told I have good eye but obviously lack the technical - this was a rose in my garden - they have been beautiful this year - thought to share as I am enjoying this amateur hobby of mine :-)

Emma I can remember when you were having problems adding pictures, but now it seems as though you have mastered that.
Quite often nature comes on the spur of a moment and too soon it is gone.
But as long as you enjoy taking a photo of that moment, it is nice for you to share it with us...Tony (potleek)

Hi, Emma,

well done and well spotted, so often we spot a subject which doesn't stay around long enough to grab the camera, this couls have been just such a moment, but you caught it and the focus, colour, positioning and everything about this is very pleasing to the eye.

My passion is yachts and birds, the sails can change position in a second and the birds, well, haha, I'll say no more. smiley8
Keep up the good work and do share with us,

David

Could do with a glass of rosé!
