Animation2-3.gif

I am a Lady of The Night - resting from flight

amidst the song of the lark

and spirits of the dark.

My wings sing of the delight of night

when all else sleeps and time keeps

me - in gossomar comfort.

Zy I'm not sure if the picture gives credit to the thoughts that a lady of the night brings when first reading the title.
Perhaps some scantly dressed lady leaning against a lampost comes to mind.

A bit of a red herring in the title, Tony, she so obviously is an 'Angel' of the night,

but then again, it's all open to interpretation smiley8 I found the piccie and was fiddling

then started messing about and had a go at internal rhyming, (couldn't sleep), Zy

She sprinkled stardust in my eyes
I saw beauty in her guise
Wise was she, pure intentioned too
What do people assume
When we mention she's the lady of the night
Beautiful is she, can we not see
Purity
I love the lady of the night
Her stardust brightens my life.

Just a little something that came to mind...:)

Thanks, Maria, a lovely add-on, the subject of the picture just caught my eye,

so singularly alone in her expression. Was it from choice? etc ... thanks again, Zy x
