I like to watch the fairies

That dance upon a cloud,

Sliding down a rainbow.

They can be very loud!

I like to watch the goblins

That sing and dance all day

Play in their fields of gold,

Laughing all the way.

I like to watch the unicorns

Flying through my dreams,

Bringing magic to the night,

As mermaids dance and sing.

Nice to see this forum being used, Lynn, it is such a nice place to spend an hour or so reading

in a genre of choice....Tony and I do that sometimes, just sit in stories or whatever.

I enjoyed this, nicely rhymed til' stanza 3 smiley8 what happened? lol, Zy x

He he, Zy! It just came out that way (honest! smiley8).
Seriously though, I'd just popped down here for a quick read and was reading some of Vicki's old poems when this one came to mind.
I wasn't sure whether to post it here or in the Children's Section, but I opted for here instead.
Hopefully, I should be able to spend a bit more time here now (and hopefully, it should inspire me to write fantasy poems more often, as I love writing them!).

Glad you enjoyed!

mmnnn, not that I can fill Vicki's shoes in this genre, Lynn, till she feels like coming back,

but I'll join you in Ethereal if you fancy getting it going again smiley8 Zy x

This was just a little doodle of mine. To be honest, I wasn't sure where my muse was heading as I wrote it, but I'm glad you enjoyed, thanks Maria.
Zy - you're on! I'll see what I can do!
