I lay very still in bed It all feels as cold as steel Time is not of importance Because the present moment It is standing still for me Little like sleeping beauty More than a Centenary More of a Millenia Until I am discovered By a new type of beings A Race who will hopefully Be kind and understanding As I am the offering By way of Cryogenics For this is my time capsule

Re:Tony's Challenge: Frozen In Time Date Posted:29-09-2020 10:22Copy HTML WOW!!! ..... I definately didn't see that coming, Sacha, super. Another so original composition. You obviously have a penchant for Tony's choice of topic....what a pity there are so few of us when you give us so much to consider. I don't know if I'd want a second time around though, Darling, what if they were worse.... Mum x Opposites exist by virtue of each other

Re:Tony's Challenge: Frozen In Time Date Posted:30-09-2020 07:32Copy HTML Sacha, another clever concept for a time capsule! One really has to put one's trust in those who "harvest" you, don't you haha. A great poetic idea, though, dad x Could do with a glass of rosé!

Re:Tony's Challenge: Frozen In Time Date Posted:02-10-2020 07:00Copy HTML Sacha I admit to not knowing a great deal about cryogenics, to me when you're gone you are gone. so it's all about freezing you till a probable cure is found for possible disease. What about the poor mammoths, frozen to death most likely but they cannot bring them back to life as they are found, dead is dead. Cryogenics is a con trick for the gullible with cash. Correct me if I'm wrong, but an interesting thought...Tony (potleek) |

Re:Tony's Challenge: Frozen In Time Date Posted:04-10-2020 02:10Copy HTML ahhhh Tony, thank you for taking the time with your reply.
Indeed, if we had the science we have now, back in the day when dinasaurs were around, they might still be!
The idea is that I deliberately freeze myself now, with a view to being thawed in a time in the future, with the thought of waking up in a new world. They would then be able to 'scan' me to see how my body functions in comparison to whatever is the new way of living, whenever the date is that I am woken by the machine.
It is something that used to fascinate me, but to be honest, I dont like how the world is developing now, if I had faith in the science (which I dont) it would be amazing to come alive again in maybe 3000 years and see where we are then. Pros and cons, and an infinite conversation, wouldnt you agree? :)
best wishes
