Grey black clouds
dance a Tarantella
across the angry sky

to the ancient rhythm

  of a wild ,winters wind,

 heralding autumns passing

with the first threat of things to come...

Our frozen minds cling still to images

of sandy shores and sun dappled oceans,

and while November beckons winter

to please ‘Enter here’

we poor mortals cling to hopes of Spring..

Love your poem and pic, but most of all your true feeling for winter...it's a curse I tell you! haha

hahaha, I do have a true feeling for winter Maria, but its not printablesmiley8 Down here in Devon winter mostly means rain, fog, and damp, not much frost and very rarely snow, if we do get snow its just a flurry, I can deal with that.

Thanks for reading and replying I really appreciate it.
