Very topical write, echoing, I suspect, the thoughts of many.

Illness is indiscriminate, as experienced by those who have sadly succumbed to it. However, there are ways to help minimise its spread, simple procedures to follow, even if they don't all work, they may help, so it's worth the small effort, for others if not one's self. And yet.........there are those who don't give a fig ~ the human animal can be so (I'm struggling for a printable word here, so you'll have to fill in the gap as you see fit).

we hope to at least curtail the spread of the pandemic by willingly wearing the mask.

Sadly, Tony, we have bred a new generation far removed from those days of rationing and much sacrifice for those in need...we still have our heroes of the groups but sadly, 

we also have those who don't give a damn. Wonder what they'd say if it did come round to them, Zy
