Date Posted:07-12-2014 09:44Copy HTML Laughed and CriedAnd, oh how I have laughed and cried, real belly laughs that tickled up from toes burst like bubbles in my stomach and travelled through my oesophagus bursting in out with true relish until tears rolled, my body folded over and I never thought I would see again as encompassed in hilarity, those were heights and then there were lows, where my throat tightened and pin pricks pierced my eyes, songs swung inside my brain and I fell, this burning burning pain inside so deep I cried, no I sobbed, some were dry tears they choked my throat, so that I was sick to the very core of me and others where the tears fell like curtains of unadulterated sorrow, my lids became shutters and the birdsong was nothing more but the cacophany of fear and loathing. Oh how I have laughed and sobbed, stood in the wind and wailed, smiled in the sun, run naked in the corridors of passionate love, each limb trembling exultant in the breadth of spasms that reached, exhorting me to higher things, oh, love and laughter and tears, I have reached and I have plummeted, fallen from clouds, saw my shadow dance and landed softer than any feather. Struck my heart in such blows, felt the knife as it flinched through my skin. Yet what is life, love and sin, what is music as it blanches, sways branches, I have been lost and found, run aground, beached and floated. I have lived and died a million times in the gurgling of joy that burst all dams and flooded through the arid plains that at times I was forced to walk, thirsty, gasping for air. And, oh how I have laughed and cried. |

this really does explain the emotions we all have felt at one time or another so brilliantly that the reader feels an affinity with the words Emma, there are far too many brilliant lines to try and pick one out.. Vicki x don't knock on deaths door.. just ring the bell and run like hell!!

Re:Laughed and Cried Date Posted:13-12-2014 12:06Copy HTML Thank goodness for the Today page, Emma, I saw this one and then it was gone (I thought)
and now had the pleasure of reading it because of Maria's recent reply... Ditto Vicki's comments, the bitter/sweet emotions of life, but said in your special inimicable style, Zy x Opposites exist by virtue of each other
