Re:Night Before Christmas Date Posted:06-12-2015 03:12Copy HTML Maria isn't it queer how children develope a greater sense of hearing when it gets close to Christmas time.
The rustle of wrapping paper makes them perk up...Tony (potleek)

Re:Night Before Christmas Date Posted:06-12-2015 08:47Copy HTML Kids seem to know, their faces glow with anticipation. I love the joy of giving, it doesn't matter if I get anything, I just like to give something, even if I have to make it myself. I love the spirit Christmas brings. Yes, children have astute hearing when the holidays come near. I feel like a kid again, don't you?

Re:Night Before Christmas Date Posted:17-06-2019 02:20Copy HTML Hi Maria, I don’t know if you’re still around and lurking here at Poetry Corner, but I just wanted to say that this is fantastic! I can’t believe I’m reading Christmas poetry in June, haha, but that’s because I don’t usually have time to look at the storyboards and children’s poetry. I really should come down here more often! Anyway, I hope you are well. Lynn xx Stand tall in the face of adversity

Re:Night Before Christmas Date Posted:17-06-2019 01:47Copy HTML I don't know what happened, Lynn, Aimoo started to revamp their sites when I first took ill and a while later David popped to find almost everyone either couldn't get things to work or were just drifting away, so we joined Tony in an effort to get it back to some working order. There were cries of "How nice to have you back" etc but it took so long for Aimoo to get straight (they still aren;t) that we seem to have the same few of we steadfasts trying to give it the kiss of life...it would be nice to have Maria back with us, Zy Opposites exist by virtue of each other
