Re:Skating at time swuare Date Posted:30-11-2015 07:06Copy HTML Maria the picture shows fun and happiness as do your words, but for me the truth of winter is cold and misery.
I suppose as a child I played in the snow and did enjoy it too a point until the coldness overtook it all. I suppose I might sound like a killjoy but for those who like it, yes of course enjoy it, but leave me beside a warm fire...lol...Tony (potleek)

Re:Skating at time swuare Date Posted:30-11-2015 09:25Copy HTML The very first time I went ice skating, I was black and blue. I hung on to the railing and still fell. So it was a nightmare, but the picture I gleaned from made me feel cheery, like you I am into comfort. Warm in winter and cool in summer. We live in the high desert, so we get blistery hot and frigid in the winter. Spring and autumn are my favorite time of year, but the fist snow fall is always pristine, I don't like being in it. Just looking at it is enough. Thanks for sharing, I know, we get to be stick in the mud when we grow old. But that's life, right?
