Date Posted:16-12-2014 01:56Copy HTML You slipped in through my windows creating a glimmering jewel in a necklaced street of indifference, sweeping the village green, as it awaits the echo from last years beating of leather against willow. I watched you turn the forlorn frowns of yesterday into smiles and scatter children upon the snow, laughing, playing, as weathered masks cracked...and dropped from view. You unsung hero of happy faces, must we wait so long for another visit, whilst enduring this chill of winter days after the comfort of summer’s rays.

I'm not a lover of snow myself, although I enjoyed it to a point when I was young it still brought dreded thoughts that my dad would be called out during the night to work....Tony (potleek)

Re:Stay A Little Longer (an edited oldie) Date Posted:18-12-2014 03:03Copy HTML No, Tony, I remember writing this one and we lived in Worthing, overlooking the gren where cricket is played all summer, but this morning, the sun shone so brightly through the house and was reflected on snow across the green,
it was gorgeous and we seldom got snow on the south coast, but as I lept going back for a glimpse, children ran across the snow throwing snow balls and the dreary cold winters day was transformed...I don't really like winter, but that "sunny' day, I loved it, Zy Opposites exist by virtue of each other
